Biodiversity Surveys

With my colleagues in the field, we are conducting various biodiversity surveys and assessments around the country as independent surveys and professional services. We have been working in a diverse array of habitats from coastal zone to the mountains of Sri Lanka.

Impact on Avifauna by Wind Farms

A long term study on the possible impacts on avifauna by a proposed Wind farm project in Mannar island under the Ceylon Electricity Board. Surveys on the bird diversity and movements are conducted in Mannar and Vankalai.

Primate Conservation

I contribute to the Primate Conservation Project conducted by the SPEARS Foundation as a field surveyor and an environment educator aiming at minimizing human-monkey conflict in the country.

National Bird Ringing Program

I am a volunteer member of the National Bird Ringing Program of Sri Lanka conducted by the Field Ornithology Group of Sri Lanka in collaboration with the Department of Wildlife Conservation.
